Mrs. Julianne Switzer, 74 years and six months died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vernon Switzer at Fernwood, Tuesday afternoon at 3 O'clock. She was the widow of G. W. Switzer who died Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Switzer was ill at the time of her husband's death. She was born July 14 1856. The family was one of the oldest in the Fernwood Neighborhood. Surviving Mrs. Switzer are four daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Nora Cruthirds, Mrs. D. D. Cruthirds, Mrs. Ben Sumrall, and Mrs. Vernon Switzer and the sons are Fred Switzer, G. W. Switzer Jr, and H. E. Switzer. Mrs. Switzer will be laid at the side of her husband in Handsboro Cemetery. Funeral services will be at the home of Mrs. Vernon Switzer at Fernwood, Wednesday afternoon at 3 O'clock, Rev. Roy Wolfe, pastor of the Handsboro Methodist Church officiating.
