I am researching the following families who resided primarily in central NJ and neighboring PA and NY.
Petty: this branch can be traced back to the early 1800s in Monmouth, Middlesex, and Essex counties.
Connected to the Pettys are the Terhunes, Everetts, Weed,
Prall, Tallman, Smith, and Ware.
Lehman: this branch came from Germany in 1854.
Connected families are the Gruppe, Springer , Goetz.
Leonard: this branch can only be traced with documentation to the mid 1800s. Associated with the Leonards are the Morris, Terhune, Wilsons
