He married (1) SARAH BURFORD December 21, 1813 in Albemarle County, Virginia, daughter of WILLIAM BURFORD. She was born Bet. 1790 - 1795, and died Bet. 1829 - July 1850. He married (2) MARY A PARRISH May 18, 1856 in Putnam County, West Virginia. She was born Abt. 1796, and died Aft. 1856.
