Mrs, Ora Tackett, wife of Tom Tackett took carbolic acid and died from the effects of it. Mrs, tacket sent her child and a young ladyboarding with them tofee the cichens around 2:00 in the afternoon. While they were gone she took a doseof carbobic acid and died from the effects an hour later. She had been in ill health form some time and despondency due to bad health is supposed to have been the cause.

After her death, her younger sister, Willie, moved in to take care of the children.
