This article tells date & location of her birth, coming to Oklahoma Territory in 1884, marrying Harvey Allen Cook in Healdton, OK. at the age of fifteen & to this union nine children were born. It names her two living daughters, a living daughter-in-law, most of her grand-children, great grand-children, nieces, nephews & some cousins. It, also, has more details about her being a Shawnee Pioneer Woman.

Lydia Monroe Hamblin (sister to Jennie Meek) signed an affidavit to verify that my Dad was born February 21, 1902. She knew this because she delivered him.
10. David Gregory Meek's Registration Certificate (card), certifies that my Dad registered for the Selective Service (Draft) February 16, 1942 and the law required men to have this card in their personal possession at all times.

12. David Gregory Meek's 1922 Shawnee High School Caldron, page 57, 58 & 59, My Dad played football and was a half-back. " He was our most consistent ground gainer." He is pictured on page 57 and is in the stories about the school team and games on pages 58 & 59.
