This article tells date & location of her birth, coming to Oklahoma Territory in 1884, marrying Harvey Allen Cook in Healdton, OK. at the age of fifteen & to this union nine children were born. It names her two living daughters, a living daughter-in-law, most of her grand-children, great grand-children, nieces, nephews & some cousins. It, also, has more details about her being a Shawnee Pioneer Woman.

Lydia Monroe Hamblin (sister to Jennie Meek) signed an affidavit to verify that my Dad was born February 21, 1902. She knew this because she delivered him.

26. Birth Place of Henry Meek, my 1945 Baby-book Family Tree cites Henry Meek born in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The 1870 & 1880 Federal Census, also, cites Pennsylvania as being his place of birth.
