Joshua's bible shows that he was married to Mary Ann Mansfield on March 3, 1842 . The marriage application shows a date of February 28, 1842. They were married by Minister Spotswood. They came to West Virginia between 1848 and 1851 with t hree of their children. Joshua was a farmer.
He lived on Grave Creek, Wayman 's Ridge and Knoxville, when most of his and Hester's children were born. They are both buried at Beeler Station Cemetary.
Joshua and Hester's children, Ja cob and Amos must have died in infancy, there are no records, not even death re cords.
