The CRUMP Family of Mason County, West Virginia

A History of the Crump family was written during the late 1950s by James Morriston Crump and has to my knowledge never been printed or made available to the families mentioned in the document. My sister Diane and I have added information to it over the years. I have been doing additional research on the family and have added information and plan to do additional research. I am publishing this at this time in hopes that family members are interested and can provide additional information.

I have not verified all of the information that Jim included in his document.

If you have any information or stories about the Crump family, I would be greatly interested. I know we each have our own oral history and in this day and age of the computers, we lose some of that. I would like to incorporate more stories and information in my version of the Crump family history, which will not be limited to Mason County. My Crump family history will be basically Mason County based since that is my origin, but I want to see where we actually originated and trace to that origin.
