Tracing the Cubit Family from Tasmania back to Norfolk I am tracing the Cubit/Cubitt Family from my ancestor James Cubitt who was transported from Northern Ireland to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) in 1819. James and his family had emigrated to Northern Ireland from East Ruston in Norfolk, England. His forbears were the Honing Cubitts and I have information back to 1473.
