The Suffolk Cuckow Family

Families with the surname ‘cuckow’ and its various derivatives have been living in Suffolk since before the 14th century. There are however other families in the United Kingdom with the same surname, principally the Kent ‘Cuckow’s’, a family much larger than ours but totally unrelated.

This is the story of the Suffolk ‘Cuckow’s’, or at least as much as I have been able to establish to date.
