| As you can see I am working on a lot of surnames in our Families. Anyone searching any of these names I would like to compare notes with you please email me. The McGlaughon/McGlauhon/McGlaun are the first I started with because it is my maiden name and the natural choice on beginning my search but it also seems like one of the hardest to locate. But I will keep working at it. Culpepper/Colepeper was my second surname to research being it's my married name. After all this time of working on both of them and graduating to the other surnames they have all become mine, I have grown attached to all the Grandparents lost out that no one knew and I feel they are very glad that we have been looking for them and connecting them to the rest of their Families. I do know that the Meglohon/McGlohon/McGlaughon name is just a variation of the name MacLachlan so the Story of the 3 Brothers Hardy, William and Jeremiah coming to America from Scotland has it's basis on truths since MacLachlan is the Clan MacLachlan from Scotland. But it seems that the McGlohon clan is very hard to track but we keep trying. Please check out my surnames and I will add more information on each one as I have time.
