I am researching the WILLIAMS Family from Clearfield County Pennsylvania. Edward Hurd Williams b.1805 is my ggg-grandfather married to Elizabeth Schmehl. This is my maternal grandmother's line. There is also the family name of HUMMEL. My maternal grandfather's side has been a little harder to trace. These are the ROAN's of Pennsylvania but I believe they may have been from Centre County, PA. My gg-grandfather was Andrew Roan. I don't have a birth date or any other information on him. His wife's last name was either Bodtle or Bodle. There is also the family name of EVERETT My paternal grandfather side is CUMMING from Scotland. I have done some extensive research into my Scottish line and have also found relatives in Canada. My paternal grandmother's side was DALLAS also from Scotland. There is also the family name FERGUSON. Other family names:ANDERSON, BARGER, BUSH, COWDER, DALLAS, DICKSON, DIXON, EMIGH, EVANS, FLEGAL, GOSS, HOOVER, HUBLER, HUMMEL, KANE, KELLY, KLINE, KNEPP, KYLER, LINGLE, PETERS, PHILLIPS, ROTHROCK, ROWLES, McCLARREN, McNAMARA, OCHSE, QUICK, SCHMEHL, SMEAL, SHIMEL, SHIMMEL, SCHIMMEL, WARING, WARREN.
