Notes for Sarah Ellen Dixon: "My recollection of my grandmother Sarah are few. She was a proper English Lady and would read the tea leaves left in the cup for us kids. She was an excellent seamstress and also could knit. I remember asking her how old she was. Her reply was "As old as my tongue, and a bit older than my teeth". We would visit her every Saturday in Bloomfield, NJ. Stop at Tim's Deli and bring home cold cuts and salads for the super. I remember two or three apartments and finally the last one was in East Orange 384 Dodd St. Sarah started to deteriorate mentally and was finally placed in the county home at Overbrook. That place was a horror. The grounds of the hospital were very park-like but the inside was just awful". From the family tree of Sheila Webber.
