Hilda Elizabeth Cumming (daughter of Robert Cumming and Sarah Ellen Dixon) was born January 25, 1904 in Nottingham, England40, and died March 22, 1989 in Tucsan, AZ. She married Alexander Richard Anderson on September 07, 1925 in Methodist Church, Glasgow, Scotland.

During World War II, Hilda worked in the defense plant, Walter Kidde. After the war, she studied and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and realized her life-long dream. Thereafter worked as a private duty nurse. She lived at 384 Dodd Street in East Orange, Nj at that time. In 1966 she moved away from East Orange and went to Tucson, Arizona to live with her daughter Margaret. Her mind deteriorated and she was placed in a nursing home in 1979 where she died in 1989.
