We have traced our Cumpston Surname to John Cumpston (husband of Sarah Triggs and son of Henry Cumpston). This union took place on April 30, 1821 and resulted in 11 known children. Some names are: Isaac, Enos, Elizabeth,Philip,Charity, and Albert.. Our next step is to find John's father. We think it may be Henry Cumpston.
