I am looking for "kin" folk. Some of the surnames include WADE, LANE, & POE from Allen County,western Kentucky and Rockingham County, North Carolina. And JONES, HALL, & AKERS from Floyd County in Eastern Kentucky. More specifically I am looking for John S. WADE's b. abt. 1820(sp.Leanah Jones) ancestors, probably from Rockingham County. I have several names from John S. & Leanah to date, and would be happy to share. I have met a great deal of wonderful new cousins via the internet, and hope to meet many more! Any information would be greatly appreciated.
