Cummings Family Home page

We are The Cummings Family. We're of Scotch-irish descent with roots in Scotland and Ireland. We're a small branch of the family and the rest are scattered throughout the country. Lawrence Cummings came to New York in 1848, a refugee from he potato famine that struck Ireland in 1845. He and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Torrence Cummings, are the first ancestors of our family tree. My husband Gary B. Cummings is their great grandson.
