I am researching my family of Pitkin and Burley and my husband's lines of Cummings and Hamelin.
The Pitkin line is quite extensive, actually going back through the royal families of England, Scotland and some in Europe.

The Burley line is a puzzle I would love some assistance with.
I cannot get past three generations and have family lore that the family came from New York before arriving in Michigan.

The Cummings line is also extensive, dating back to 1600, but I would welcome any information beyond that point. It is said that Isaac Cummings was Scottish but I have not been able to prove that fact. This would be very important to me as my husband is the president of Clan Cumming Society in the USA and the sole representative of the clan chief Sir William Gordon Cumming of Altyre, Scotland.

The Hamelin line on one side goes back quite a bit, the name Dion was changed from Guyon at some time. This family is from Canada and migrated through Maine into the United States.

I will, of course, share with anyone interested and will welcome any assistance in filling in the blanks on any of these lines.
