I have begun to research our family history. There is significant information available and I am placing it on the net at this time to assist in research and hopefully make contacts to further the database I have accumulated. I have not contributed it, in whole or part, to Family Tree Maker Project at this time. My family background includes ancestory from England and Germany. It is known, at this time, that in Canada on my mother's side, some of the early settlers from Germany homesteaded in Gray-Bruce County. Names in our ancestory include; Schwandt, Lueben(Lubin)and Lipskie and Aljoe. Another branch takes it orgin from England with names like Goad, Irving, Bidwell and Cunningham. On my wife's side we see names such as Wynnychenko and Gawura. Other names include Koebel, Yost and Isley. The Cunninghams have been traced to Blackburn England, while Luebens have been tracked to Mecklenburg, Germany. Searches have stopped with that knowledge and no over seas research has been completed at this time. Anyone information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share what I do have. |
