The birthdate of Tohl (1851) is inconsistent with the birthedate of his listed mother Wilhelmina Mann (May 5,1853). The question is was there a marriage to another prior to Wilhelmina Mann.

3. EMMA3 LUEBEN (ERNST2, HENRY1) was born 11 December 1882, and died 1965. She married ALBERT LIPSKIE 1901 in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Lot 18 Concession 7, Sullivan Twp. Grey County, son of UNKNOWN LIPSKIE and UNKNOWN.

MMA LUEBEN:
Emma Lueben was born on December 11, 1882 to Ernst and Emma Lueben of Concession 4, Sullivan Township. Emma married Albert Lipskie on January 9, 1901. Rev. Klaehn of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sullivan, performed the ceremony. Albert was the son of Godfried and Louise Lipskie.

Albert's occupation was a farmer. Albert and Emma Lipskie lived with Emma and Ernst Lueben for about a year before moving to his farm on the 8th Concession of Sullivan, where he built a new home and barn on the farm.

Their first born daughter was stillborn. They then had three sons, Anton born May 15, 1906; Edward born on November 12, 1909; and Walter, born on July 23, 1916. In 1917 they sold their farm and bought 100 acres on the 10th Concession of Sullivan Twp., where they raised their family. however Anton died on February 16, 1927. His cause of death was noted as heart condition.

Interesting to note that in the guest book for the funeral service of Minnie Goad (Luben) that Emma Lipsie, Ed and Laura Lipskie sign the book spelling their name as Lipske, where as Walter spelled his name Lipskie.

4. WILHEMINE3 LUEBEN (ERNST2, HENRY1) was born 05 March 1888 in Williamsford, Ontario, Canada, and died 20 March 1957 in Preston (Cambridge), Ontario, Canada. She married STEPHEN CHARLES GOAD 23 October 1913 in Young Methodist Church, Winipeg, Manitoba, son of WILLIAM GOAD and ELLEN SMITH.

ILHEMINE LUEBEN:
Wilhemine was born on March 5, 1888, to Ernst and Emma Lueben, of Sullivan Township. Known as Minnie, she moved to Hespeler as a young girl and worked in the woollen mills where she met Steve Goad. In 1912 they moved to Regina, Saskatchewan, where Steve worked as a warehouse mechanic for the railroad.

Minnie married Stepehn Goad on October 23, 1913, at the Young Methodist Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Steve was the son of William and Ellen Goad of Kent County, England. Minnie returned home to Desboro to be with her mother Emma Lueben (Schwandt) when their first son, Stephen Jr., was born on August 15, 1914. She then returned to Regina,. On February 21, 1918 a daughter, Pearl was born, in Regina Saskatchewan.

Around 1922, Steve and Minnie and their family returned to Preston (now Cambridge), Ontario and resided on Fountain Street. Steve worked for Auto Homuth Textile Plant in Preston. On March 4, 1927, their son, Clarence, was born. Later they sold this home and built a new home on Cornell Street in Cambridge.

In 1953 they sold their home and moved in with Pearl and her husband Albert Cunningham at 1790 King Street, Preston, Ontario. Minnie died on March 20, 1957 of pancreatic cancer. Steve continued to live with Pearl and Ab for 27 years. By this time they now lived at 1357 Fairview Road in Preston. Steve was then moved to Golden Years Nursing Home for about a year until his death on February 24, 1980.

Stephen and Minnie are buried in Park Lawn Cemetery, (Preston), Cambridge, Ontario. While family surname is believed to spelled as Lueben, the surname appears as Luben(Lubin) on her death certificate.

He was predeceased in death by his wife Minne (Wilhelmina) Lueben in 1957, son Stephen in 1956, and three brother and six sisters. Stephen married Minnie in Winnipeg, Manitoba, October 23, 1913.

Marriage certificate #F.3857, (059290 search record). On the certificate Steve is listed as a car repairer. His religion is listed as Methodist and usual residence at that time is stated as Regina, Saskatchewan. Steve's father, William is described as a gas fitter.
