An official document from DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE BUREAU OF THE CENSUS WASHINGTON 25, DC from the census of 1900 taken as of June 1, 1900 that states that Cannary Australia Gaddis real name was Cannaria Gaddis and he was born Feb 1896 enumerated in the family of Joe L. & Julia Gaddis and then lived at 251 York Ave Knoxville, Knox County TN. However his daughter Evelyn declares emphatically that this is not correct that he was born April 1898 and that his brother Ab was born in 1896, so we are using her statement here as the correct date.
