The Alonzo Curtis Family Home Page

I am searching for all relatives, ancestors, or decendants of John Curtis who leaved in Virgin Arm,NF, Canada and Arthur Burt who lived in Fairbanks, NF, Canada. I have reason to believe that both my Grandparents moved to New World Island from Twillingate Island in the early 1900's. Both were involved in the fishery and logging. Arthur Burt was active as a cooper(barrel maker) as well.
There are also family stories of them or their ancestors coming accross from the UK to settle in Newfoundland, Canada. My Father's name was Hubert Curtis(son of John) and my mother was Minnie Burt(daughter of Arthur). Both are deceased as well as their parents and siblings.
