| I am researching the VERINK'S, originaly from Holland and settled in Muscatine/Louisa County.Iowa. I have found some of my ancestors but some of them moved to the Iowa Falls area and I am having trouble finding information about them. If anyone has any information I would very much like to hear from you. I am also trying to find information about Joseph L. HOGAN. I know he was born in Lexington, Kentucky Sept. 12, 1892 . His father's name was James Harrison Hogan and his mother's name was Merry Frances Walker. He came to the Muscatine, Iowa area when he was about 16 or 17. He then married Lola Essie Fuller in Muscatine, Iowa. They have three children; Joseph L. (Bob) Hogan, Laurel Hogan Goettsch and Luciel Hogan Verink. They lived in Muscatine all of their lives. I have not been able to find any of his relatives, as he would never speak of the family he left behind. If anyone has any information about him, please let me know. I am also researching the BROWN'S and YERINGTON'S in the Muscatine area and the FULLER'S in the Eliza, Illinois area. If any one has any information, please contact me. Some surnames that I am researching on my husbands side are Lewis, Shaw, Cozad, Andrews, Hindbaugh, Ellis and Saltz. I am also willing to share any information that I have with anyone that needs it. |
