I'm dedicating this page to my lost uncle, First Lieut. Erwin Richard Schott, MIA WW II.
And to my parents, Henry Schott Jr. and Florence Marie Dupont.
I am researching my grandparents, and their parents. My grandfather, Heinrich Schott immigrated to USA in 1910, then my grandmother Anna Louise(Wuthe)Schott came to USA with 5 boys and 1 girl in 1914.
My grandparents were; Heinrich SCHOTT, Sr.,b.1874 wife;Anna Louise Wuthe b.1875, married in Elberfeld, Germany in 1898.
Children were;Heinrich Jr., Walter, Hans, Alfred. Werner and Else Anna Katherine Schott, all born between 1899-1909.
Heinrich Sr. had two brothers still in Germany in 1941;Johann and John Schott, and a sister, Mrs. Maria Schott Becker.
Else was married 1938 to Wilhelm Franke in NY.
Last son born to Heinrich Schott, Sr. and Anna Louise Wuthe, in East Longmeadow, Hampden Co., MA. Dec. 7, 1918 and was Missing in Action in WW II;
1st Lieut. Erwin Richard Schott, died May 1, 1943 over Continental Europe, in the English Channel.
Co-pilot of the Flying Fortress, B-17 Bomber,8th US Army Air Forces.All 10 crew members went down with the plane.

My Dupont family came from Canada via Champlain, Clinton County, NY to Springfield, Indian Orchard, Ludlow and Worcester, MA. USA
My Maternal grandparents;
Amos Emerson Dupont(son of Jean Baptiste Dupont and Malvina Morin) b.1876 d.1916, married Aug. 15, 1898 in Worcester, MA. to Lillian Anna Dennis(daughter of Simon Goyette-Dennis and Margaret Patenaude)b.1880 d.1925.
10-12 children were born, but only 3 survived.
