I have just started to research my family tree and would be grateful for any help/contributions. The THOMAS family came from Wellington, Shropshire to Otley and Burley-in-Wharfedale, Yorkshire in the mid-nineteenth century. Married into the Burley-in-Wharfedale family of CASSON. Later there is a connection with and METCALF and LUND of Bradford. Again in mid 19th century the METCALF family moved to Farnham, Surrey (why?) Has anyone any information on either CYSARZ (Lwow, Poland) or SIGMUND (Crakow, Poland)?
