| I'am researching the Daeffler family. I'am the great-granddaughter of JACOB DAEFFLER and MARY MATZ. They emigrated from Germany in 1892. Jacob and Mary settled in Pierce county, Wisconsin, and worked as farmers. Jacob had a brother MARTIN DAEFFLER married to LOUISA MATZ. Martin and Louisa settled in Red Wing, Minnesota they also were farmers. It appears from documentation that MARY and LOUISA were related (sisters?). I would appreciate any information anyone would have about these brothers and would be happy yo share all information that I have. In addition I'm researching the surname REUTER from Illinois though they may have settled in Minnesota near Red Wing. |
