RICHARDSON, MCCAUGHEY, MARKER & BERRY FAMILIES OF ON

I am researching information on the individuals Thomas Major and his wife Christina Anderson, their ancestors and children. They may have lived in Port Aux Basque Nfld. and Perth ON, Canada, abt 1840 to 1900+. They may also have lived on Anticosti Island during that time period. They had a daughter Jane who married William Richardson. William was born in Cornwall England. Jane & William resided in Perth Ontario, for approximately 40 years before their deaths in 1922 and 1924.
William & Jane's daughter Susannah, b.1880, was my grandmother. She married John Arthur McCaughey in 1899. I have no confirmed information on the whereabouts of the Richardson family before they went to Perth ON about 1880/1881.

I am also looking for place of birth information on John McCaughey, 1838 -1919 who married Martha Houston 1839 - 1914. He resided in Cobourg ON Canada but was born near Belfast Ireland. He and Martha Houston were married in 1864 in Hope Township, ON Canada. John's parents were Samuel and Jane Bonna/Bonner McCaughey who came to Canada about 1848 with their children. They were all born somewhere in Northern Ireland. Martha Houston, born in the US was the daughter of Hugh Houston and Martha Loughridge who were born in Ireland.

I am also researching the Berry & Marker families. William Henry Berry married Mary Marker in Port Hope Ontario Apr. 18, 1877. They were both born in Devon England in 1849 and 50 respectively. My grandfather William (son of William & Mary) was born in Welcome ON Canada Feb 20, 1878. .
