* The Daffron Genealogy Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

Over the past 20 years I have traced the Daffron name back to my GGGG Grandfather, John Daffron. Born abt 1752, died Aug 18,1849. His wife was Sarah Avery, daughter of John Grist.
I know of a few of his children and their decendants. My GGG Grandfather was Joseph Daffron, one of John's 15 children.

I am looking for any connections to my ancestors. If you have come across the Daffron name in any research I would love to hear from you.(1/1997)

NEW - 3/13/1998 - Anyone have knowledge of Daffrons before 1750?
Various spellings - Daffren, Daffrin, Dafferon, Daffin, etc.

New - 5/26/2000 - The response has been fantastic from so many of
you and it is deeply appreciated. My database is 10,700+ and growing every day. Thank you. However, we are still stuck at the mid 1700's and cannot seem to progress back. Know of a John Daffron probating his mother Mary Daffron's will in 1660 in
Boston, MA., but cannot connect. Still need help!!!

Sorry about not posting Gedcom files. Still have some proof work
that must be done. A conflict has come up about Noah Daffron, so
until it's resolved - no Gedcom file. Sorry. If you need data just e-mail me and we can go from there. Terry Daffron
