I have been doing extensive research on both mine and my husband's side.
On my side: Amos C. Drake dated 1915 (death), Hulet Edna Gross(1876-1932) Charles C. Burkhart (1868-1941), Emma R. Krammer (1872-1945) these are all on my adoptive father's side.
On my adoptive mother's side: Christopher Truby (born 1701 in Switzaerland) and Isabella Bowman (1738-1801 Bucks county, PA)
Conrod Schreckengost (died 1840 in Armstrong County but was born in Germany), Catherine Zortman (born in Germany but died in Armstrong County, PA)
On my husband's side:
His mother's side: Thomas family Alexander Thomas Sr. born in 1740 in Somerset County, PA)
His father's side is much harder to trace because most of the relatives are gone and information is difficult to achieve. I have heard that there is a picture of a "coat of arms" for the D'Agostino family and that the roots can be traced back to the Roman times. But so far all I have is my father-in-law was Fortunato and his Father Frank who came over from Italy. He married Rose Petronio (not sure of the spelling) who also came from Italy. They had several children: Frank, John, Dominic, Jose, and at least 2 more but I am not sure. Frank SR. had several brothers from what I have been told a couple stayed in New York and at least one went west to California.
I have alot of information, pictures and newspaper clippings that I would be willing to exchange for more information.Any information would be greatly appreciated.
