Gerald Byrne Sr born abt 1752 of Baldwin Co Alabama married Ann Palmer Allman in 1771( widow of Phillip Allman of Savanna Ga.) Charles Hall I and Aurellia E. DuPre, Cornnelius Dunn and Sarah Lucas were all early Pioneers settlers of this South Alabama area. All of these were in one way or another involved in the Ft Mims Battle losing sons, daugher's or grandchildren as well as some of their own lives in this conflict, a major turing point in American History.
