Hi!My name is Kathleen Louise Humphreys - Dahlin. I am currently researching my husbands family which would be "Dahlin". I know that they came from Sweden between 1830 and 1870. Their great-great Grandfather was Olof Jakobson, born in Valla Sweden. He married Petronella Olsdotter. I would like to know when and why the name was changed when their son Christian came to America. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! |
