I am researching the Henry Manning Duke family. Henry married Almira Ferguson (dau. of Neil Ferguson and Tabitha Chapman)in Butts Co., GA in 1834. They were in DeSoto Par., LA by 1840 with sons: William Wickley (Weakley), Henry James, Madison Monroe and my Alfred Manning Duke (b. 1843). Henry Manning Duke was perhaps the son of James Duke who had a brother, Henry. They are possibly the sons of John T. Duke.
I am also researching Kinmon Lee Brannon, b. 1888 in Ruston, Lincoln Par., LA; marr. Nina Lucile Scruggs in Durant, OK in 1916; died 1922 in Oklahoma City, OK. 1910 OK census says KL's father born in TN, mother born in LA. Have been unable to connect KL to anyone prior to 1910 in OK. He is said to have had a sister.

Other families I am working on: Peter Patrick Butler family (1800s) of Elbert Co., GA; William Irvine family (1800s) of Madison Co., KY; Wiley Jennings (1807-1882; TN to Lamar Co., TX in 1850s); William Watson (1783 MD - aft 1850 Perry Co., TN); John Duff Brown (1824 MO - 1819 TX).
