We are not really the Dahls. Our Patrynomic name from Sweden would have been Johansson or Magnusson. The DAHL name was adapted by our social climbing Swedish immigrants when they hit the shores of North America. Our Swedish line goes back to the Gothenberg and the Jonskopping area, in the west part of Sweden. The line of McIntyre(Gale)-Hicks [maternal] goes back into the Hicks and Vanderhoef completed family trees. Please don't hesitate calling or writing me.
