He was born August 24, 1880 in Sherburn, Minnesota¹⁰⁶, and died March 04, 1946 in Estherville, Emmet, Iowa¹⁰⁶.

Dellas M. Eiden

Dellas Marie Eiden, 87, 407 W. Pine St., died Wednesday in a Missoula nursing home. She was born Feb. 12, 1888, in Agra, Kansas, and attended school and lived in Estherville, Iowa, until 1948. In that year she moved to California and then to Missoula in 1960. She worked as a seamstress and in nursing. Her husband, Frank, died in 1946.

Surviving is a niece in Missoula.

Funeral services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Livingston & Malletta Chapel with Rev. Beryl Burr officiating. Burial will follow in Missoula City Cemetery.

Frank Eiden Dies Last Night, Funeral Thursday

Frank Eiden, 65, a long-time resident of Estherville died Monday night at 9:30 at his home in Estherville of a heart stroke. He suffered a paralytic stroke two years ago and had a weak heart but his death Monday was unexpected.

Mr. Eiden was born Aug. 24, 1880 in Sherburn, Minn., where he lived as a boy and attended school. He was married March 9, 1903, to Dellas Marie Wagoner in Estherville and had made his ome here since.

He was an active officer and member of the Knights of Pythias for more than 37 years. He was also a member of the Presbyterian church.

His survivors include his wife, one sister, Mrs. K. Silverthorne, of Fairmont, and two brothers Henry of Sherburn and Peter of Missouri. Two sisters, Lena Paul and Anna Roderick, a daughter, Thena, and an infant son preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Sternborg funeral chapel and at 2:30 o'clock at the Presbyterian church with Rev. J. M. Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery.
