Mrs. Theodore Mathison Dies; Rites Friday
Mrs. Theodore Mathison, 41, died Wednesday night at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden, after a lingering illness of several months.
Thena Faye Eiden was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Estherville.She grew to young girlhood here and attended the Estherville grade and high schools.On Aug. 5, 1935, she was married to Theodore Mathison.She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Those who survie her husband and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eiden.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at the Sternborg chapel and 2 p. m. at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. J. M. Kennedy officiating.Burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery.

Keith Wagoner
Keith Bennett Wagoner, 83, Holton, died March 20, 2001, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
He was born June 3, 1917, in Blue Rapids, the son of Charles and Vera Burket Wagoner. He had lived in the Holton community since 1949.
He graduated from Blue Rapids High School in 1935. He graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan and also attended Colorado University in Boulder. He received a master's degree from Colorado State University at Fort Collins.
Mr. Wagoner was a vocational education teacher in Fairview, Hillsboro and Holton High School. He worked as a sales representative for Jackson County Co-op for several years. He was then owner and operator of Wagoner Ag Supply in Holton for many years.
Mr. Wagoner was a Navy veteran of World War II and later served in the Naval Reserve. He was member of First United Methodist Church in Holton where he served as superintendent of Sunday school for 25 years. He was a life member of the Lions Club in Holton and maintained a perfect attendance. He had sponsored 15 new members, served in all club offices and as district governor.
He was a member of the Blue Rapids Masonic Lodge No. 169 and Valley of Orient Scottish Rite in Topeka. He was 32nd degree mason. Mrs. Wagoner was an honorary member of the Holton Volunteer Fire Department, served on the Holton City Commission and served three terms as mayor.
On Aug. 10, 1940, he married Evelyn Hart in Manhattan. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sherry Wabaunsee and husband Nathan, Suisun City, Calif., and Kaelyn Mason and husband, Ron, Denver, Colo,; a sister, Joyce Lemke, Onalaska, Wis.; 10 step-grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. Memorial service was March 24 at First United Methodist Church in Holton. Private family inurnment will be at Holton Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Holton Lions Club or the Holton Volunteer Fire Department and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS. 66436.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 29, 1994, in the Gable Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Jenson was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Agra, Kan. She died of complications of asthma Aug. 25 at age 68.
She was raised in Lincoln, Neb., and married Allan R. Jenson in 1945. They moved to Portland in 1948.
She worked for Pacific Northwest Bell from 1955 to 1980, when she retired as a supervisor.
Survivors are her husband, of Milwaukie; son, Allan R. ''Rob'' Jr. of Portland; brothers, Ken Wagoner of Tacoma and Jack Wagoner of Longview, Wash.; and sisters, Arlene Townsend of Lompoc, Calif., and Phyllis Bacon and Gail Avery, both of Longview.
Interment in River View Cemetery.
Remembrances: American Lung Association.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, in Gable & Parkrose Funeral Chapel for Allan R. Jenson, who died Oct. 3 at age 77.
Mr. Jenson was born June 20, 1924, in Minneapolis. He moved to Portland in 1948 and was a production controller for Tube Forgings of America Inc. until retiring in 1982. In 1945, he married Delores Wagoner; she died in 1994.
Survivors include his son, Rob; and brothers, Neil, Doug and Dale.
Interment in River View Cemetery. Remembrances to American Red Cross.
