Graveside services for Carl Lee Freeland, 85, La Junta, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2002, at Mountain View Cemetery, 1315 Acero Ave. in Pueblo.

Mr. Freeland died June 19, 2002, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 16, 1917, at Brewster, Kan., to James Earl and Hazel Lovina (Waggoner) Freeland. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife Lee Freeland of La Junta; sons Earl (Wanda) Freeland of Port Aransas, Texas, and Norman (Jackie) Barden of Julesburg; daughter Barbara (Jerry) Weller of San Jose, Calif.; brothers Glen Peterson of Silver Cliff, Lloyd (Joann) Peterson of Pueblo, Lynn Peterson of Patterson, Calif., and Berl (Marti) Peterson of Pueblo West; sister Shirley (Bob) Clarke of Penrose; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Rachel; son Richard "Dick;" and daughter Janet.
Arrangements are by Grooms Crematory and Mortuary of Rocky Ford.
