The Dahoney's come from Ballingary, Tipperary Co, Ireland. My Greatgrandfather came over in 1874. My Greatgrandfather is Hohmann and he imigrated fron Brandt, Germany in 1876. My mother's side of the family have been in America since the 1700's. She is German-Scottish-English descent. The surnames from her side of the family include Vigne, Van Alstyne, Loucks, Vincent, Van Wagner, Ryon, Bingham, Moon and Searles. The original ancesters either landed in New York or eventually emigrated to upstate New York, including Oswego, Montgomery, Schenectady and Albany Counties. My greatgrandfather Eugene E Ryon kept track of alot of the family genealogy which was my starting point into genealogy. Any help that you have would be helpful and will be resprocated within any help that I can provide for you.
