I hope your visit here will be productive for you and possibly help put you in touch with family members. This page is a continuing work in progress. I've used mostly primary sources but also some secondary sources in my research. It is up to you, the researcher, to verify information. I do make mistakes and welcome corrections.
Other surnames I research are DAIGLE, SAVOIE, BABIN, GROS, PICOU, NAQUIN, USE or USIE, RHODES or RODDY, GUIDRY, DEESE, DEES, DEAS and few others. My file has reached a point where it is no longer just my family. Any work I do for others goes into the file.

It will search only the article you are viewing. I've had to remove notes from some of the genealogy reports in Related Files because they made it too lenghthy. You can check for any available notes and sources in my Rootsweb World Connect file.

Thanks also to the wonderfully nice people who have sent me their family information and old photos, like cousin Gary Bennington, Marlene Hale Shake, Geoffrey Davis and the late Phyliss Dearborn, to name a few among many. Seeing some of these old photos was the first time I saw some of my older family members and it was wonderful. I am a sucker for old photos even if I'm not related and I gladly share those if I have them.
I was born and raised in Terrebonne Parish, LA and now live in Lafourche Parish right on the border with Terrebonne. Much of my research centers around these two parishes since both my family and my husbands family are from there.
