Notes for William Henry:
William Henry was living in Stow, Mass June 24, 1735.William Henry bought from Nathaniel Page of Lunenburg, 116 acres of land and 8 acres of meadow in the northeast part of Lunenburg, as shown by book 6 or Worcester Co. land records, page 190.He was still "of Stow" as late as Dec 8, 1741. (same land records but book 15, page 27) In these deeds he is called, " Husbandman"In stow records he is mentioned as "Field Driver, in 1737.He divided all his property in Lunenburg equally between his sons William and George, April 17, 1752, when all were of Lunenburg (id book 31, page 508; book 39, page22.)Doubtless his son Robert had previously received his portion. In view of this disposition of his property, in 1752, and the date of his first grandchild's birth in 1742/43, William Henry, Sr. must have been born almost as early as 1690, when John of Topsfield took the FREEMAN'S oath.perhaps on becoming of lawful age.If the latter was an ancestor, they were doubtless father and son.
