The Daleys

Updated June 28, 2011

The search for my roots has been an on-going process and there is no end in site. I started with Rabun side of the family because I had very little information about it. To my surprise, I found lots of information, even though I have come up blank a few times. My ancestry on this side of the family is a little scarce. It looks it is Scotch and English.

I expanded my search to the Peden side and discovered that there was more information than I could possibly process The Peden's are very well documented. I discovered the book "The Peden's of America" and found I am from the House of David. My ancestry on this side of the family is Scotch, Irish, English, Welsh, German and possibly some Dutch.

Then I tackled my husband ancestry. His surname is Daley but originally was Delia and his family is from Italy on his father's side and from Lithuania on his mother's side. This side of the family is very difficult to research but I keep plugging away at it.

I would appreciate any information that anyone wants to share.
