* The Dalrymples of Nova Scotia, Canada*

Updated October 23, 2012

Circa 1766 the DALRYMPLEs arrived from Ireland, landing near Windsor, Nova Scotia. They eventually settled in the Township of Douglas, now known as Hants County. This site has a genealogy database of the descendants of James Dalrymple (born 1761). If there is a Dalrymple in your family, and you can trace them to Nova Scotia, you may find them in this database!
