Welcome to our web page. I am researching both my husband's family and mine.

The Jones' migrated from Indiana to Michigan in the 1910's. There are many family members still in the Indiana area. They include the surenames of Jones, Sanders, Osborn(e), and Walt. The Walt/Sovolask family immigrated from Austria-Hungary, Poland in the 1880's. Also included in Michigan, Ohio, New York and Mass., are Crosby, Brainard (Braneard, Brainerd), Spencer, Kellogg, Ackley, Updikes (Updyke, Op Dyke).

The Dallmann's immigrated from Berlin, Germany to Canada after WWII. I have not currently found any relation to the Dallmann's that immigrated to Wisconsin. The names we are researching in Germany are Dallmann and Jacobs.

Other names that have been researched, but are not on the site yet are Watret and Cain who immigrated from Scotland in the 1910-1920 to Windsor, ON, Canada and Detriot, MI. I have followed those lines back to the 1500's in the Edinburgh/Glasgow area.

This is an on going project and will be updated periodically. I have tried to make sure there are primary resources to collaborate the ancestors. If you find an error please contact me so we can up date it. If you find an ancestors name that has no further research to back it up, please contact me, as I might have the information and not have included it yet.

The Jones' family reunion will be held in August 2005, in Michigan. Please check back for dates and locations. We hope that if you find a common ancestor you will contact us.
