William' s real father was Gordon Christy. William suffered a fatal heart seisure on saturday afternoon, March 8, 1961, just as he was removing his car from a municipal parking lot in dowtown New Kensington. He had had a prrevious attack 12 years ago. All of his life he had resided in the Tarentum-New Kensington area.
He was a conductor for the Allegheny Valley street Railways and had worked at the New Kensington plant of the Aluminum Co of America. for nearly 20 years he was an insurance specializer for Knights Life Insurance Co, New Kensington. He was a member of the Life Underwriters Association.
