I am researching the surnames LEITSCH, MILLER, DIEL, and NUCHTER all from the Pittsburgh, PA area. Johann Georg Leitsch and Rose Diel were from Wissels, Germany. They had 2 children: Franz Joseph (also known as Frank), born in 20 September 1861, and Sophia, born 1 January 1867. He also had 2 sons by Benedicta Dickelmann: Magnus, born 14 June 1872, and Philip, birthdate unknown. Three of these children immigrated to Pittsburgh, PA - Frank (1887), Sophia (bef. 1887), and Magnus (1886). Frank, Sophia, and Magnus also had a cousin William Leitsch, married to Victoria, who immigrated to Pittsburgh in 1891. I have limited info available about this branch as well.

Frank Leitsch and Maria Nüchter had 8 children: William, Ann, Sophia, Frieda, Joseph, Marie, Helen, and Frank. Sophia Leitsch (sister of Frank) and Louis Gerstbrein had 2 children: Mary and Rose. Magnus Leitsch and Anna Hahner had 6 children: Hilda, Edward Francis, Oscar, William, Maryanne, and Joseph.

Karl Müller (later changed to Miller) and Gesina Tobin were from Fulda, Germany and immigrated to Pittsburgh, PA in 1893. They had 9 children: Otto, Marie, Charles (died in infancy), Henry, Leo (died age 12), Anna, Joseph, Teresa, and Bertha.

I am also searching for the descendants of Magnus Diel and Juliana Schaefer from Wissels, Germany. They are related to Rose Diel, but I don't know how. They were married about 1882, immigrated to Pittsburgh, PA about 1883, and had 9 children: Louisa, Anthony, Emelia, Frank, Rose, Henry, John and Joseph (twins), and Anna. Magnus' father was Anthony Diel. Magnus had four brothers: Rochus, Wendelin, Otto, and Philipp.

I have a great deal of information on the Leitsch, Diel, and Miller families that I am willing to share. Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
