THE DALEY RECORD was created to research the genealogy for all descendents of Michael Dailey and Winifred Loftus Dailey who lived in Scranton PA during the late 1800's. Winifred died around 1889 and Michael married Mary Hastings.
Michael and Winifred had a son Michael Francis Daley born in 1886 who married Margaret Hannon born in 1888. Margaret was the daughter of James (Dynamite Jim) Hannon born in England in 1861 and Margaret Maloney born in Ireland in 1863. Michael Francis Daley and Margaret Hannon both died in 1919 during the infamous Spanish Flu Epidemic. Looking for information on Michael and his wife Winifred's heritage.

Names that are being researched are Daley, Dailey, Loftus, Maloney, Hannon and McDonald. These families lived in the Scranton, Minooka, Carbondale, Taylor, Jessup and Oliphant areas. The Hannons came from England between 1865 and 1880. The Maloneys came from Ireland between 1865 and 1880. The Daileys were from the west side of Scranton and Daleys were from Minooka.
