| Andrew Dalrymple, was born, in Drummurchie, Barr, Ayrshire, Scotland,in 1684. He married in Belfast,Ireland,in 1708,to Dorothy Shepard.In approximately 1711, Andrew with, his wife, and two children, came to what is now the United States of America. They settled in Uxbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts, where he died,on July 13, 1762.Descendants of his moved on to other states,and counties. This is where after 33 years of research, from libraries,courthouses, historical societies,and cemeteries, I have documented, these names, of my descendants, and their loved-ones. History books, show the joy and pain, these people ventured. The hard work of tilling the ground, tending to their animals,and crops, and raising their children. Sometimes conditions, where such, that disease,or wars would ravage families. The research continues, with locating descendants, from other countries, and of course,documenting future, love-ones. My dream, by accumulating, these family members,is to give, the future generations, something to look back on, and be proud, from which, they came. |
