I am researching the D'Amico family of New London and Stonington Connecticut. Salvatore J. D'Amico my great grandfather came to the USA circa 1876 via San Fransisco, California where my grandfather John Salvatore D'Amico was born. They came to Connecticut circa 1890-95 were my greatgrandfather owned and operated a small italian store and a cigar factory. My grandfather worked for a local cotton gin factory as a tool and die maker. He married Jessie May Merritt circa 1900 and moved to Stonington Connecticut.I am also reasearching the Curran family of Providence Rhode Island. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also I am willing to share information that I have.
