I am researching the Amico,D'Amico families from Sicily. My mothers was Philipina (Amico) D'Amico she was born in Petrapacier, Sicily abt 1902 her father was Salvatore Amico, born abt 1880 Petrapacier, Sicily Salvatore's Fathers name was Michele Amico and his mothers name was Filipa Milterona (need info) Her mother was Cologia Messina, born abt 1880 in Petrapacier, Sicily. Cologia's mother was Petrina Vintorella and her father was Stanzla Messina, she had five sisters Grace, Santa, Stella, Josephine and Anna I have a great deal of information on Salvatore and Cologia Messina, Amico from the time they came to America. My father was Salvatore D'Amico, born Oct 12,1895 St Flavia Sicily, in town of (Bug- i- era). His mother was Felicea Morici and his father was Carmelo D'Amico, he had a sister Nina And (3) brothers Joseph,Jim (Vincenso) and Tony (Antonio) He may have had more family, a sister Maria The Amico Family have had family reunions every other year for many years in Lynn Mass.
