She died 18 Jan 1835 in Farm ...Pendleton Place (Ghost Hollow) , Bethany, WV. He married (2) ElizabethHemansBeach Bef. 1790. She died 18 Jan 1835 in Bethany, Brooke Co, West Virginia.
Notes for Henry Wells:
Henry enlisted about Sept 1, 1776 (age 20 and 3 1/2 months) into the Continental Army from Delaware. He served 5 years and fought at the Christiana Bridge, Brandywine, Trenton, Red Banks, Cowpens and in the Carolinas.
Henry was wounded at Brandywine when he was shot in the hip. Henry was discharged September 1781 in the Carolinas and arrived home in Delaware in the spring of 1782.
Henry applied for pension in January 1834. His pension was then transferred to the Wheeling office in March or April 1837. He was then living near Bethany, VA (now West Virginia). After he was 70-years-old, he received a pension of $80.00 per year.
Henry moved in 1797 or 1798 to Washington Co, "Little" Washington, PA.
"Henry and Elizabeth had a son James (1791-1867). There was also a Sarah who married a Hitchcock. It is not known if Sarah was a Beach or a Wells. The Hitchcocks lived on a farm near Bethany (Pendleton Place near Ghast Hollow). Here Elizabeth was buried after her death on January 18, 1835. It is unknown if she was living there or just visiting. Henry died March 15, 1838 at the home of his son James in Bethany and was buried next to Elizabeth".
"On Henry's pension application he stated his father was also in the army but spelled his name Wales".

Elizabeth's first husband is unknown. She was Mrs. Beach when she married Henry Wells. She had a son Jeremiah to her first husband. His date of birth is unknown.
