Jim was born at Union Hospital, Tuscarawas Co., Dover, OH Jim was a 1962 graduate of Midvale High School. Jim enjoyed sports. Particularily watching his sons and daugher perform. Jim worked at Union Camp Chemical Division, Dover, OH Jim served with the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966. Jim died at the early age of 42 of a sudden heart attack.
Obituary: Times-Reporter Thursday, February 12, 1987: "Jimmy Tidrick---Jimmy D. Tidrick, 42, of 512 Shawnee Dr., Dover, died this morning in Union Hospital of an apparent heart condition. Born at Dover, he was a son of John Tidrick of Midvale and the late Katie Johnson Tidrick, and was a planner for Union Camp Chemical Division. He was an Air Force veteran, and a member of First Moravian Church, Moose Lodge and Army-Navy Club at Dover and an associate member of Midvale Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was vice president of Dover Tornado Club. Besides his father and wife, the former Marla J. Daniels, whom he married July 31, 1965, he is survived by one daughter and two sons, Emily J., Mark S. and David J., all of the home; and a sister, Mrs. Duane (Shirley) Zack of Portage, Mich. One brother is deceased. Services will be held Saturday at 11 in Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia with Rev. Albert Frank officiating. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. Calling hours are Friday from 2 to 9 with the family present from 7 to 9."
